RoboRanch 3D Model

This was a school project in collaboration with a fellow student. I decided to make a character for a video game, texture, rig and animate it myself and i like the final product especially considering the time i made it in. I learned a lot about unwrapping, txture painting, weight painting and rigging and i am really happy with how it turned out.

Finals product with textures.

This is a Test animation that i worked on, I haven't been animating for a while and i got a bit carried away but i think it all worked out in the end and came together nicely.

Running animation.

Walk cycle.

This is where i started modelling and putting my model together. I thought it was going to be easier but it turns out making a robot is not as easy as it seems.

After Rigging and wieghtpanting the body i tried a couple of poses and made a few simple textures to test out how it would look.

Unwrapping the model was the most challenging considering it isn't the tradition unwrapping on clothes but this character is mostly made out of boxes.
